Are you a proven achiever in new media or looking for a move into this market? If so, read on. We are currently recruiting on behalf of The Phonebook from BT who have a national need for New Media Sales Consultants to develop their on line presence within the UK. You will be promoting on line advertising within the directory on www.bt.com, BT Web Clicks and banner advertising. We require candidates who have considerable consultative sales experience and can demonstrate job stability in a target driven, new business environment. A background in selling new media is preferable but not essential. You will be based from home covering a designated region, a typical day will involve approximately 5 appointments with the aim of closing on the day. Leads will be provided however you will need to cold call also. You will be the dedicated New Media Consultant for your area and all on line advertising will be passed to you. The ideal person will be self motivated, enthusiastic and extremely professional with a strong customer service ethic as well as a proven track record or passion for new media. You will have no more than 6 points on your driving licence and have experience of direct sales within a business to business environment. BT will give you full, in-depth product and sales training, plus another 6 months on going development. Their aim is to get you to hit your targets and earn money!!
